Ah! I have got the supreme jewel 'Rama' Naam. My preceptor (Raidas Ji*) has given me an immaculate entity (this invaluable gift of Rama Naam), and has accepted me out of benevolence.

I have lost my worldly possessions, but gained the real treasure (the name 'Rama'), that has taken several births to acquire, in this life.

This treasure [the name of Rama] does not diminish on spending, and a thief cannot steal it. It increases many times every day.

My Spiritual preceptor is the helmsman for the ship of my life to make me cross the ocean of metempsychosis (rebirth cycle).

The Lord of ‘Meera’, Who lifted the mountain, Meera sings His glories with immense happiness.

Sant Raidas Ji : Sant Raidas Ji was a great disciple of Jagadguru Bhagavad Ramanand, He accepted the Rajput Royal Princess Meera Bai as his disciple and imparted her the supreme mantra 'Rama' Naam. After recieving mantra from him, Meera Bai remain always indebted to him. Bhaktimati Meera Bai in her many Bhajanas and compositions remembered and bowed to Sant Shri Raidas Ji as her Gurudeva e.g. (a) gurū milyā raidāsajī mhāṇa, dīnī gyāna kī guṭakī । mhā rō mana lāgyō guya sauṃ aba nā rahūm̐gī aṭakī ॥ ( गुरू मिल्या रैदासजी म्हाण, दीनी ग्यान की गुटकी । म्हा रो मन लाग्यो गुय सौं अब ना रहूँगी अटकी ॥ ) — I found my Guru Raidasji, he imparted me the true knowledge, therefore I would not remain trapped anymore in the mundane things); (b) meerā sataguru dēva kī, kara bandanā āsa । jina cētana ātama kahyā, dhana bhagavāna raidāsa ॥ (मीरा सतगुरु देव की, कर बंदना आस। जिन चेतन आतम कह्या, धन भगवान रैदास॥ ) — Oh Meera (she is telling to self)! Do the worship of Your Sadguru who imparted You the right-knowledge of the supreme soul (Rama), and keep expectations from Your Gurudeva only, all glories to Bhagavan Raidasa Ji (here she calls her Gurudeva as Bhagavan); etc. Bhaktimati Meera has composed many Shri Rama's Bhajan also in Rajasthani, such as another Shri Rama-Bhajan by Meera .
